This hike will be a preview of a Trails Committee project to improve some of the current trails around the property and meet up with the Metacomet Greenway which will terminate in Walpole, read more about the Metacomet Greenway project. The guided hike takes off at 10am from just behind the softball field. The hike is a quick mile past the water town and down a steep hill to the future site of the Metacomet Greenway. Hikers will then return up to the existing hiking trails that go around the fields and connect with the Winter St access area before returning to the parking lot.
