400 Main St, Walpole, MA 02081
Here you get 150+ acres of pristine and active farmland — the smell of cows & horses grazing, the sound of tractors humming & students working, and the quiet of the backwoods that few who don’t go to school here know exist. Note that during the school year when class is in session, access is restricted — but on weekends and holidays everyone is invited to hike the hayfields and forests of the Norfolk County Agricultural School.
The guided hike takes off at 12pm from the back parking lot and is 1.75 miles long. Heading out past the baseball fields and livestock area, you’ll follow the main path through a large field, around the back side of the property to some flowing water and back into the live stock fields before returning to the parking area.
